Corbett Tourism like to inform you that Jim Corbett National Park offers you a Tourism Zone by name of Teda Gate, Pawalgarh Tourism Zone. This is newly opened zone in Corbett for Visitors in that visitors can spent there 4 hours in the jungle during Gypsy safari. Corbett Landscape is loaded with nature`s wonders, and borders the main attraction of the park. Of all the major avian species found in Corbett Landscape and areas abutting Corbett, the Corbett Landscape shelters around 600 species of birds, most of which are migratory birds. Sprawling with vast acres of wilderness, dotted with villages and sun rays filtering midst the tall Sal woods, it is truly a magical to go a walk on the lanes here. And, there is no better way to bird watching than this. Birds Watching Safari can be enjoyed to a large extend in this Landscape (Corbett Landscape) of Jim Corbett National Park.
Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve, Teda Gate, Pawalgarh Tourism Zone is newly opened tourist spot of Jim Corbett National Park. This zone is under of Forest Department. It means Corbett Park's rule regulation will be apply in this zone. Only permitted vehicles can take a wild trek inside the forest. There is a famous temple dedicated to lord Shiva and a beautiful river. Corbett Landscape is a very beautiful, peaceful and attractive place of Jim Corbett National Park. In safari you can see here Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Dears, Jackal, Wild Boar many other animals but its depend on your beautiful luck.This zone is very famous amongst bird watchers specially Vulture lovers.
Fauna of Corbett Landscape:-
Mammals: Royal Bangal Tiger, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Asian Elephant, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Chital, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, Black Face Monkey, Rhesus Monkey, Wild pig, and Jackal.
Birds: Long Tail, White Bush chat, Oriental-Pied, Emerald Dove, Red Wattle Lapwing, the Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Rested Kingfisher, Indian Shirks, Indian Alpine Swift, Woodpecker, Laughing Thrush, Vulture, Parakeet, Kales Pheasant, Oriole, Common Grey Hornbill, Seagull, Duck, Stork, Cormorant, Parrot, Indian Roller and many more.
Reptiles: King Cobra, Russels viper, python and Monitor Lizard.
Fish: Mahaseer, Troude, Kalimuchi, Goonch, Kalabasu, chilwa and many more In Kosi River.
